JobVectorAI ("we", "our", or "us") is an AI-powered job application platform. We help job seekers apply to relevant positions automatically. Our website is jobvectorai.com.
What information we collect
When you use JobVectorAI, we may collect the following:
- Account information — your full name, email address, and phone number when you apply for a job or sign up.
- Resume / CV — the file you upload to apply for jobs (PDF, DOC, or DOCX).
- Payment information — if you subscribe to a plan, payment is handled by Stripe or Paystack. We do not store your card details directly.
- Usage data — pages visited, jobs viewed, and actions taken on the platform.
- Google account data — if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
How we use your information
- To submit job applications on your behalf (the core service).
- To manage your account and subscription.
- To send you application-related emails (confirmations, status updates, decision notifications).
- To improve the platform and personalise job matching.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Your resume
Your uploaded resume is stored securely and used only to submit applications on your behalf. We do not sell or share your resume with third parties other than the employers you apply to through our platform.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe (for users outside Ghana) and Paystack (for Ghana users). These processors have their own privacy policies. We store only basic subscription records (plan, status, expiry) — not your card number or full payment details.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you logged in (session cookies) and to enable the "remember me" feature. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:
- Payment processors (Stripe, Paystack) to handle transactions.
- Email service providers to send transactional emails.
- Employers — only the information contained in your application (name, contact details, resume).
Data retention
We retain your account data as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing us. Resume files are kept until you delete your account or request removal.
Your rights

Security
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS, hashed passwords, and secure file storage. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
JobVectorAI is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page will reflect when it was last changed. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated policy.
